Born and raised in Massachusetts, Kate Rafey is a Jill-of-all-trades, master of none. While serving two years as an Americorps*VISTA for the Massachusetts Campus Compact, Kate became attuned to life's many social injustices, which led her to feminism. Judaism has always been a large part of her life, though sometimes taking a backseat to her other passions including theatre and writing. Previously a JOIN for Justice Fellow and Prevention Coordinator at A New Day, Kate is the Director of Development at Music Worcester.
