Tal Dimenstein

Tal Dimenstein is a student at Barnard College studying History on a pre-law track and is originally from San Diego, California. At Barnard, Tal has had the opportunity to dive deeply into historical research to produce work on a variety of topics relating to Jewish history, from an examination of the Jewish grassroots response to United States inaction during the Holocaust, to a GIS-powered visualization of early-20th century Jewish female garment workers on the Lower East Side. She has always looked toward Jewish women as a source of inspiration and is passionate about using historical research as a tool to share their stories with the world.
