Todd M. Endelman

Todd M. Endelman is Professor Emeritus of History and Judaic Studies at the University of Michigan. His most recent books include Leaving the Jewish Fold: Conversion and Radical Assimilation in Modern Jewish History and Redcliffe Salaman: Country Gentleman, Jewish Nationalist, Race Scientist, and Historian of the Potato. With Zvi Gitelman, he edited volume eight of the Posen Library of Jewish Culture and Civilization, Crisis and Creativity between World Wars, 1918-1939

Nina Ruth Davis Salaman

Nina Salaman was a well-regarded Hebraist, known especially for her translations of medieval Hebrew poetry, at a time when Jewish scholarship in Europe was a male preserve. In addition to her translations, she published historical and critical essays, book reviews, and an anthology of Jewish readings for children, as well as poetry of her own.
