Tafat Hacohen-Bick

Tafat Hacohen-Bick wrote her doctoral dissertation on the subject of theology and poetics in the poetry of Pinchas Sadeh, Yona Wallach, and Zelda Schneerson, under the supervision of Dr. Hamutal Tsamir, in the Department of Hebrew Literature at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. She is currently a postdoctoral fellow at Heksherim Institute in the department of Hebrew Literature in Ben-Gurion University and teaches at Achva college and at Ben-Gurion University in Eilat.

Yona Wallach

Regarded by many of her friends and colleagues as the most important among the young Israeli poets of the 1960s, Yona Wallach has had a profound effect on Israel’s cultural life ever since her works began to appear in periodicals in the early 1960s, despite her early death from cancer in 1985.
