Naomi Kaplansky

Naomi Kaplansky was born in Israel. She served for seven years as assistant to Haifa Municipal Theatre Director Joseph Milo before studying television in London. In 1968 she joined the Israel Broadcasting Authority and for twenty-five years was senior documentary producer, inter alia of Pillar of Fire, Out of Spain and The Kingdom of the Khazars. She has organized various conventions including Heine in Jerusalem (2001) and The Jeckes (2004) at the Mishkenot Sha’annanim Convention Center.
