Pauline Koner (1912–2001) was a solo concert dancer for fifteen years. She pioneered in television and was a guest artist for José Limon for fifteen years. Koner conducted workshops in Japan, India, Singapore, and Korea. She directed her own company, received the Dance Magazine Award and an honorary degree from Rhode Island College, and published two books. Koner appeared throughout the world, and her works have been performed by many companies.
