Carolyn Gray LeMaster

Carolyn Gray LeMaster is a native of Little Rock, Arkansas, and author of the award-winning A Corner of the Tapestry: A History of the Jewish Experience in Arkansas, 1820s–1990s and The Ottenheimers of Arkansas. She has contributed chapters or sections to several other books, including The Quiet Voices: Southern Rabbis and Black Civil Rights, 1880s to 1990s. LeMaster lectures on Bible and Jewish history and has served on the boards of a number of local historical institutes, including the Southern Jewish Historical Society and the Pulaski County Historical Society.
