Joanne Passet

Joanne Passet is the author of Cultural Crusaders: Women Librarians in the American West, 1900–17. She is currently working toward her second doctorate in history at the University of Wisconsin. Passet received her first Ph.D. from Indiana University, her M.A. in history from Bowling Green State University, and her B.A. from Bluffton College.

Betty Ross

Betty Ross was a journalist known for her international purview and interviews with celebrities. In the mid-1920s she traveled extensively through Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and Russia, gathering materials and interviewing celebrities. She was among the first journalists to conduct radio interviews.
