Avihu Ronen is a senior lecturer at Tel Hai Academic College and an associate lecturer in Jewish history at The University of Haifa. His studies focused on the history of youth movements during the Holocaust and he has published several books and papers on this issue, including: Third Person, Singular: Biographies of Youth Movement Activists During the Holocaust (Hebrew), which he co-edited with Yehoyakim Cochavi (1994–1995) and The Battle for Life: The History of the Jewish Underground in Hungary during the Holocaust (1994).
