Rosie Rosenzweig, author of A Jewish Mother in Shangri-la, about her journeys to meet her Buddhist son’s Asian gurus, and A Jewish Guide to Boston and New England, is a Resident Scholar in Women’s Studies at Brandeis University. Her latest publications include a book of poetry called Bring Me into Flesh and a study of the relationship between the state of Flow and Mindfulness called Emergence: The Role of Mindfulness in Creativity. She has contributed to a number of books and journals, including So that Your Values Live On: Ethical Wills; A Heart of Wisdom: Making the Jewish Journey from Mid-life through the Elder Years; Reading Between the Lines: New Stories from the Bible; All the Women Followed Her; A Collection of Writings on Miriam the Prophet and the Women of Exodus, as well as a chapter on “Serach bat Asher” in Praise her Works: Conversations with Biblical Women (Jewish Publication Society). After years as a theatre critic, she recently published Myths & Ms., a play about abortion and reincarnation. Presently, she is working on another play about two families, one white and one Black
