Donna Seaman

Donna Seaman is an associate editor for Booklist, published in Chicago by the American Library Association. A regular contributor of reviews and essays to the Chicago Tribune, Speakeasy, TriQuarterly and other venues, Seaman has also contributed articles to American Writers and the Oxford Encyclopedia of American Literature. She edited the fiction anthology In Our Nature: Stories of Wildness and hosts and co-produces the radio show “Open Books” on WLUW in Chicago. Her author interviews are collected in Writers on the Air: Conversations about Books. Seaman is the recipient of several Illinois Arts Council grants, The James Friend Memorial Award for Literary Criticism, The Writer Magazine Writers Who Make a Difference Award and two Pushcart Prize Special Mentions.
