Susan Weiss is the founder and executive director of the Center for Women’s Justice in Jerusalem. She has a B.A. in English literature from Stern College, Yeshiva University; a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School; and an M.A. in sociology and anthropology from Tel Aviv University. She is the author of a number of articles about Jewish women and divorce and is one of the editors of the journal The Law and its Decisor, published by Bar Ilan University. In 1997, Weiss founded Yad L’Isha, a project she directed until 2004.
