Leonard Wolf

Leonard Wolf has through most of his adult life been a university teacher and writer, with more than a score of books to his credit. He has been a novelist, biographer, poet and writer of social commentary. He is considered by many to be America's leading translator of Yiddish literature into English. His most recent book is The Stone Cicada and Other Poems.

Rivlin’s films The Tribe (1984), Miriam’s Daughters Now (1986), and Gimme a Kiss (2000), all of which explore Jewishness and family, are among her best.
