Louise Dresser, 1915

She was not related to Paul Dresser, though she sang his songs, nor married to Will Rogers, though she played his wife in many films. But Louise Dresser used this confusion to her advantage in a long career that extended from the "pickaninny" shows of vaudeville to Broadway to Hollywood. She is shown here in 1915.
