Rikudah Potash

"The Poetess of Jerusalem," Rikudah Potash wrote in Yiddish about the "heavenly" and the "earthly" of her beloved city, its landscape and its diverse ethnic communities, bringing to her Yiddish readers a literary picture of the universe she inhabited body and soul.
