Performance by Anna Sokolow's Lyric Theatre, 1970, Page 1

Page 1: As the program indicates, Sokolow's "Lyric Theatre" was devoted to the collaboration of actors, musicians, dancers, painters, and writers. At this 1970 performance, the company staged two pieces by Sokolow, Act Without Words No. 1, based on a work by Samuel Beckett, and Magritte, Magritte, based on a series of paintings by the surrealist artist Rene Magritte.
