Santa Fe 2010 - Off for an adventure in snowy Santa Fe

It's snowing in Santa Fe – not music to the ears of those of us who are just digging out in the Northeast!

But, despite the weather, we are off for a wonderful adventure in a city whose very name evokes magic and majesty. With Stanley Hodes' book and selections from Miriam Sagan's poetry in my suitcase, I am thrilled to be a participant in JWA's first-ever tour. Santa Fe is both gorgeous and mysterious – one wonders what secrets and twists of history lurk beneath those mountains. Like the unfathomable way in which the earth's platelets crash together, for me Santa Fe personifies the crashing together of cultures, belief systems, and aspirations. How much we will see and learn during our four days together. And Annie Liebowitz to boot!

See you there bright and early Thursday morning.
