In memoriam

From Judith Rosenbaum

Her memory is a blessing

She inspired me because

My Bubbe was an incredibly strong woman, who faced much hardship in her life but never gave up and never lost her ability to laugh and to love. She was dedicated to education and to family, and was determined that her daughters would have the opportunities that she didn't.

She shaped our world by raising three strong daughters, and being the loving and powerful matriarch of our family.

My favorite memory of her is

playing with my kids, her great-grandchildren. I loved seeing the pleasure they brought her. As she used to tell me, "I loved all my babies, but I love these ones the best."

Additional Thoughts

She was smart, fierce, and stubborn. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. I am blessed to have had her in my life for so long.
