We are proud of you for leading the way in the effort to remedy inequality in public school funding through your incisive data analysis of the impact of the state school finance formula on low income districts, for the pre-school in Mamaroneck that you and Lynn started by going door to door to recruit children, your application for federal aid for that pre-school that became a model for Head Start, for your many community activities, including bookclub and your wonderful watercolor lessons with your great grandchildren.
