Have you ever thought about the fact that Torahs are written by hand? Ever wonder who does this work and how they do it? JWA is thrilled to welcome Torah scribe Julie Seltzer to share her story, and what goes into sofrut (the art of sacred writing). Learn about how Julie came to this work and the various projects of which she's been part. Get a behind-the-scenes look at how Torahs are written, and examine the Jewish law that has long kept women from this field.
