Sally Wiener Grotta is an award-winning writer, photographer and speaker, whose hundreds of articles, essays and stories have appeared in scores of publications. The author of a dozen books, her first novel, Jo Joe, received numerous accolades, including being named a Jewish Book Council network book. Her newest book is Daughters of Eve (Bayit, 2024), an essay-based discussion and journaling workbook which uses the tales of biblical women to facilitate dialogues about modern life, concerns, and crises. In her video podcast What If? Why Not? How?, she interviews people with interesting ideas, with a particular focus on Jewish thinkers, doers, and creatives. As a journalist, Sally has traveled throughout the world, covering a wide diversity of cultures and traditions. Her experiences flavor her stories, art, and presentations with a sense of wonder, appreciation for human potential, and a healthy dose of common sense. Sally is a member of The Authors Guild, the Association of Jewish Libraries, and SFWA.
